| My approach to deals covers the traditional mergers & acquisitions as well as other, often overlooked alternatives such as joint ventures, partnerships, outsourcing, licensing and contracts. I can also be of benefit for negotiation strategy and deal structuring.
I place particular emphasis on avoiding and mitigating the common pitfalls of a deal-oriented culture such as failure to evaluate counter-party risks, failure to identify conflicts-of-interest and failure to plan for integration.
In short, don't assume having a banker, lawyer and/or business broker involved means your interests are covered. Having a business professional dedicated to your interests can be invaluable and is a fraction of the cost of a failed deal.
